When they 2 siblings come downstairs to eagt breakfast the morning of Sadies birthday they are greeted warmly but you can tell that everyone in the room is scared
because of both of there dreams. When they sit down the silence is broken by there uncle asking them what there gonna do next, Carter votes that they go and try to
raise Ra using the scrolls but sadie thought otherwise. She wanted to go visit her friends in london and that doesnt make carter very happy. So when Sadie goes through a portal and steps into her grandparents house a voice says "welcome home Sadie Kane."

Carter was made when he watched his sister walk through the Potral to london because she was bieng selfish as always,they had to save the world and she wanted o party.
Yet Carter continued his regular duties as a teacher. When he got to the classroom and began teaching fighting out of the head of a statue of Ra came a 3 headed
serpepnt that spoke to carter telling him give up his quest or Zia Dies. While Carter is shaken up by this he doesnt give up and tells his students its a training
excersise and to kill it. Afterwards Carter has a vision and takes Walt to rescue sadie from dange again.

Sadie walked into her house and saw her grandmother and knew she was possesed and then the grandfather walked down possesed by the god of baboons. She ran and grabbed her friends on the way out as they walked up the step. They kept sprinting until they got to a graveyard were they saw Anubis,who Sadie has a major crush on. WHen they get in Anubis explains that on the underground a driver would be waiting.So When Sadie sets out on her way with the god of baboons and the god of vultures after her she was a little scared. When she got on the underground she had to hop on a train and bolt out of there!

Chapter One

IN the first Chapter we come on Carter and Sadie preparing to break into a mueseum in order to steal one of the 3 scrolls of Ra,the sun god. Unfortunatnly there seem's to have been a spell placed over the museum and the spell accidently activated 6 spirits that had been guarding it. There apprentice Jaz used all her powers to shield them and is now in a comma.They ended up escaping from the Museum

In the second chapter we are in the Kane's,Carter and Sadie,s house. They have about 20 recruits that came to them from all around the world to learn from the Kane's, who had already saved the world once. In the House when Sadie go's to sleep she has a vision and she sees a girl her brother likes trapped and the serpent that had captured her saying"come and get her and abandon the quest child of Kanesssss" when Sadie wakes up in a sweat she cant tell carter about what happened and besides shes to busy, its here birthday.

In the third chapter we are now in carters dream(the book switches back in forth from carter and Sadie)Carter is dreaming but now he is in his gods body Horus the god of war.Horus shows him the prison were Aphphis is being kept and there are dead scarab beetles everywhere because Ra is losing power and Aphphis will escape in 4 days. Horus explains to carter/himself that the gods want to kill Aphphis together instead of re-uniting Ra with Aphphis.
